A word from Carlos:

Hi My name is Carl Thomas. I was born and raised in a small town called Mulberry TN, which is a few miles from Lynchburg TN. My wife Jamie and I felt a very strong calling to the Ardmore area back in 2004 when we married. After a time of prayer and waiting on the Lord, a door opened for us here. When we started at Ardmore First Baptist Church there was alot of potential in the Student ministries, but we knew it was God's call on our lives to take the students from the point of being members of a group to being leaders of a ministry. Since then God has really grown a desire in The hearts of these students and adults involved to do ministry, and to reach out to the world around them. They understand that One man can't do this alone... God didn't only call me to this but he called them as well. I love it here at Ardmore FBC and plan to stay as long as God allows me to!

Carl Thomas is 25 years old and has been at Ardmore FBC since May of 2006. He and his wife, Jamie moved to Ardmore from Huntsville, AL. Carl attends the Athens, AL, extention of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and plans to complete the Undergraduate, and Masters programs there.
